Over 60 % of British Columbia, Canada is covered with forests. Some of the largest populations of Black Bear, Grizzly Bear, Cougar and Moose in the world live in BC.

Over 4% of the province is covered in fresh water lakes and rivers. British Columbia is home to Canada's only desert. Off the coast of BC is over 6000 islands.

BC oceans are home to Orcas, Humpbacks, Salmon, Six-gill Sharks & Giant Octopus. The landscape, culture and wildlife will always keep an adventure exciting when exploring BC, Canada.

More then half of B.C. is above sea level and three quarters consists of looming mountain ranges like the Rocky, Coastal, Columbia, Selkirk, Monashee, Cassiar, Skeena, Omineca, Cariboo and Purcell Mountains.
